Logfiles

Each time our website is accessed, our system, i.e. the web server, automatically collects information from the system of the accessing computer or end device of the user, which may allow identification. The following data is collected by us:

  • Website from which the website is accessed (referrer)

This information is stored for system-related and statistical purposes. We use this information to constantly improve and update the appearance of our website and thus increase its attractiveness. The logged data is not merged with other data sources, in particular data that can be assigned to a specific person. The temporary storage of the user’s IP address by our system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to your end device. For this purpose, your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.

We integrate videos into our website by playing them via an embedded YouTube player. When you access a page with an embedded YouTube player on our website, a connection to the YouTube/Google servers is established. Your IP address is transmitted to the server together with the URL of the video accessed. If you are logged in to Google, YouTube/Google can assign this information to you and process it in your personal profile. If you do not want Google to collect data about you and link it to your personal profile, you must log out of Google before visiting our website. We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program.
